Description
The HA6 is a high modulus silicone sealant from adhesion specialists, Bond-It. The marine grade sealant in unaffected by UV, ozone, saltwater immersion, and temperature extremes. The HA6 silicone sealant contains no fungicides or oils which can leach into water and is non-slumping in paste form.
Designed for use on glass, ceramics, anodised aluminium, primed metals, timber, plastics and much more, the HA6 is perfect for use in aquarium construction, as well as for the manufacture of in-situ gaskets and seals for pumps and pipework to prevent water and dust ingress. Its excellent weatherproofing properties also make it ideal as a seal for cabinets in dirty environments or external applications.
For best results ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or oil before application. In order to protect its shelf life, the HA6 silicone sealant should be stored in cool, dry conditions.

Please note: For concrete and cement surfaces Bond It LN7 neutral cure silicone is recommended. Do not use on surfaces where water can penetrate through porous materials to the bond interface without first carrying out remedial work. Not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone, or unprimed metals. Do not use as a mirror adhesive and do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C.
